Weakness:

• Research activity should be increased
• Infrastructure should be increased
• No Special programme
• Lack of awareness of students
• Lab infrastructure should be increased
• Teacher student ration is very high
• Lack of animal house

Opportunities:

• Good opportunities for zoology students of placement in lectureship, research, forest department, competitive exams, animal care taker branch, Forensic Medicine, Pest control, animal suppliers etc
• They can start small scale industries such as Poultries , Sericulture , Apiculture Fisheries, Pearl culture, Aquaculture, Pisciculture
• Students are motivated and guided by able faculty member to get higher degree and appear in NET/SET and other competitive exams

Challenges:

• Motivate the student for Research activity
• Creating awareness about Digital learning
• To cultivate research aptitude among UG, students is yet another challenge.
• To train the academically weaker students to perform well in academics and help them to pursue higher education
