About the Department:
The Department established in 1981. English is taught as special subject and compulsory subject. The department has three faculty members. The department of English is striving for enrichment of the language and providing in depth aesthetic knowledge and an eagerness to appreciate the language in its ingenuity to the students who come here to avail themselves of the course. Numbers of the students from ruraland tribal area come for graduation. The computer laboratory has several latest PCs with internet facilities for the use of faculty. Department has the latest configured computers with all necessary software's are installed on it. The laboratory is effectively utilized by students for various self-enhancement and soft skill development activities. The faculty members are specially pays attention on the overall development of the students. Dr. Kiran Rakibe is the head of the department. He is an approved Research Guide for Ph. D. Course. He has presented many papers in national and international seminars/conferences. He is working on the editorial board of five international journals. He has presented many papers in national and international seminars/conferences. He is working on the editorial board of five international journals. He approved counsellor of IGNOU and YCMOU, two of the leading Open Universities. He has specialized study of NAAC to his credit and is regularly invited as resource person for guiding on NAAC by other colleges. Dr. Kiran Rakibe is the recipient of Rajashri Shahu Maharaj National Teacher Award for his contribution to the teaching field. The SPPU, Pune has awarded him with Best-Coordinator- 2020 Award, for his contribution in e-content Development. Ms. Leena Devre , the second faculty of the department has also registered herself for Ph. D. at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. She has published research papers in reputed National and International journals. She actively participated in FDP courses. Ms. Samiksha Mokal, the third faculty of the department.

To develop good qualities of communication among the students to establish a connection with the world for fulfilling the target on the basis of conducting humanity and identifying responsibilities towards the nature and human life.
